I’ve been dreaming up a small group trip through Kuala Lumpur and Tioman Island. Rainforest walks, slow mornings noticing insects up close, a waterfall day, and three nights by the sea with nothing much on the agenda. A friend who lives in Kuala Lumpur will be showing everyone around, so this isn’t the usual tourist route.

What it roughly looks like

• Small group, six guests max, plus me and a friend who knows the city
• 8 days: 4 nights in Kuala Lumpur, 3 nights on Tioman Island
• Rainforest, insects and nature, a bit of illustration, a slower side of the city, then island time
